Accessories

In addition to our wide selection of teapots, the Tea House offers tea-related accessories such as cups and goblets, infusers, filters and strainers, insulating tumblers, tea canisters, trays, iced tea jugs, books, etc.

How to choose the right infusion strainer

Stainless steel infusion baskets, with or without handles, are an ideal choice for a successful tea preparation. When the infusion is ready, removing the loose leaves will be easy. Teapots are generally provided with those accessories. We recommend choosing an infusion basket wide enough to allow the leaves to bloom when steeping in hot water.

With small filters, loose leaves are strained while serving. They are useful when tea is poured in a goblet as well as from a cauldron to a teapot.

For an individual infusion, tea balls and bags to fill at your convenience are recommended for their practical nature. However, because the leaves are in a restricted space, those accessories may not help the infusion to develop its full aromas. Do not overload.

Travel mugs and insulating tumblers

Insulating glass tumblers, stainless steel bottles and travel mugs have in common their practical characteristics and waterproof lids. With the strainers included, tea drinkers on the go may remove the loose leaves and drink directly from the bottle. The double wall of these objects provide their thermal effect: hands are kept from the heat and the tea temperature lasts longer.
